But Spain is one of the most mountainous countries in Europe and offers world class skiing from Sierra Nevada right in the south to Baqueira up in the Pyrenees. A number of years ago we fell in love with Baqueira and it’s the resort we visit time and time again with world class skiing and a short transfer from Toulouse Aiport

The Spanish do skiing a little differently! It’s fun, laid back and relaxed. Generally this means that you have the mountain to yourself nearly every morning. Tapas make for a great lunchtime treat while

après ski kicks off at the end of the ski day and if you have the energy carries on into the early hours!

THE LOCATION

Baqueira is just 2 hours from Toulouse Airport so it’s great for short breaks where you want to make the most of your time away by being on the slopes for as long as possible.

SNOW

Baqueira has a great snow record. The resort is one of the first non-glacier resorts to open in Europe – always by the beginning of December and more often than not in mid-November – and closes at
