Situated right in the centre of Andorra’s biggest ski area, Grandvalira, Soldeu sits at 1800m and straddles the main road from the French border which provides easy access from Toulouse or Barcelona airports. Getting on the slopes from all our Soldeu hotels couldn’t be any easier! Hop on the main bubble lift in the centre of the resort and you’re away.

There are a few bars and restaurants at the foot of the slopes where you can enjoy après ski at the end of the day. Make the most of the late afternoon sun on Bar Code’s terrace then head to Fat Alberts which gets going a little later with live music and DJs. If you’re still in the party mode, head over to L'era de la Cort (Pussycat’s Disco) for some great cocktails and dancing.

There’s more to Soldeu than skiing! Have a go at snow-mobiling, dog sledding, 4x4 snow driving, snow-shoeing or take a bus down to Andorra La Vielle for some fantastic shopping or a visit to the wonderful Caldea Spa.

Our ideal day in Soldeu
Take the bubble lift from the resort centre and then make your way to the top of the ski area. Spend the morning cruising blues with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Make your way to Els Cortals restaurant for lunch for brilliant views and a guaranteed enjoyable afternoon ski further along the mountain.

If you’re taking it easy, ski for the morning on the slopes above Soldeu resort and enjoy lunch on the slopes with a view at Restaurant La Cabana Espiolets, before heading back to the resort for the afternoon to relax. If you’re staying somewhere with a wellness suite such as Hotel Piolets Park & Spa, unwind in the hotel sauna or hot tub, alternatively take a trip to the Caldea Spa by taking the bus to Andorra La Vielle.

If you’re an experience skier, take to the skies for a heli-skiing adventure with our experienced mountain guides. Enjoy some of the most remarkable off-piste skiing and snowboarding areas in the country, and have them all to yourself!

Family Skiing

If you’re skiing as a family, Soldeu is the perfect destination. Everything is within easy reach from our

handpicked hotels. Whether you want to do an additional activity such as dog sledding, or snow-

shoeing or heliskiing, or just ski all day, everything is easily accessible.

Ski Schools

Soldeu is renowned for its excellent ski schools and quality of tuition at all levels. Whether you are a

complete beginner starting out for the first time or an advanced skier looking for off-piste lessons,

we can arrange the right package for you.

Heli Skiing and Speed Riding

Heli-skiing is available throughout Andorra. Bookable with the ski schools or book a private adventure. Groups of no more than 8 per guide can explore some of the hidden off-piste terrain Andorra has to offer. Or have a go at speed riding - a cross between skiing and paragliding - point your skis down hill, inflate your speed glider (bigger than a kite small than a paraglider) and jump float, land and skim your way down the mountain! A truly exhilarating experience awaits you in Andorra.

Ski Hire

We can arrange ski and board hire for you as a complete holiday package or you can organise your own. We recommended ski hire shops are Shusski and Pic Negra.
